Here at Divine Redeemer, “Celebrating our Faith” is a key proponent of our student life. Students are encouraged to deepen their spiritual through various opportunities here at Divine Redeemer.
Spiritual Events Include (but are not Limited to):
As a whole student body we begin and end our school day gathered together in the Hall. Morning prayers are led by our middle school students using Liturgy Training Publication's Children's Daily Pray which follows a form of the Liturgy of the Hours.
Prayers are also said before and after lunch.
Students attend and serve at Mass every Wednesday as a school.
We celebrate all Holy Days, and follow the Liturgical Calendar throughout the school year.
All Saints Day is celebrated in the costume of a saint that has been read about and reported on. A Living Saint Museum is prepared by the 5th and 6th grade students.
Our Lady of Guadalupe is celebrated with a play commemorating the miracle.
A Christmas Pageant is presented by all the students each year.
